 GORGEOUS set of 2 antique French , toile de Jouy curtains ~ This wonderful pattern is called " L'Escarpolette  ( The Swing) and was drawn Dujardin. Printed at the Wesserling factory. This pattern is printed in the original scale c 1785 , however these curtains are printed later, mid to late 1800's ~ This set comes with 2 long panels and one tieback ~ These textiles made my room SING , they are the classic design and important touch for any period interior , especially a French country interior. DIVINE!!!

MEASUREMENTS : These curtains measure : 38 inches wide at the top, 62.5 inches wide at the bottom by 130 inches LONG each ~*~

IMPORTANT CONDITION : I'm selling this set in original , as found condition. I've just received these fabulous curtains on my latest shipment and they have been folded for a long period of time. These curtains have not been washed in a VERY long time, if ever. Many collectors require that the textiles be in this condition , however these curtains have storage dust, water marks on the back , age marks and are musty too ~ They are in need or a clean, they can be hand washed and hung to dry or professionally cleaned if one wishes to hang right away in a living area. They can be aired outside too, and then hung as is ~ they are remarkably beautiful , long and lovely! The ground fabric is a medium to heavy weight cotton with red design. The ground tone has aged to the most wonderful warm aged off-white ~ these panels are trimmed and backed with a starched, embossed cotton, STUNNING fabric. The backing has storage marks, water marks etc ! please use the zoom feature to view closely ~  Unwashed condition reflected in the price ~*~
